THOS. WATERS DIES HERE TODAY Monroe Evening News JUNE 3, 1922 Kora Katherine Walldorf The many friends of Mrs. Thomas R. Waters were shocked to learn of her death, which occurred at her late home 303 Washington st., at 5:30 o'clock on Saturday morning. Mrs. Waters fell and broke her right limb eleven weeks ago on Friday and since then has been in failing health. The deceased was a prominent society woman and church worker. She was born in Monroe, March 29, 1862 and lived her entire life here. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal church. She is survived by a husband, one son, Louis F. Johnson (sic), Detroit, one daughter, Mrs. S. Kendrick Reed, of Monroe, one brother, William Waldorf (sic) of Palo Alto, California and one grandchild. The funeral will be held at her late residence on Monday afternoon with Rev. Charles O'Meara, rector of Trinity Episcopal church. The remains will be laid to rest in Woodland cemetery. jic
