March 7, 1932 Unknown Paper (probably Monroe Democrat) Former Resident Dead -- Mrs. Lena Walldorf, who was Miss Lena Munch of Monroe before her marriage to Adam walldorf in 1884, died at her home in Detroit late Sunday. She was a sister of Mrs. George Amendt, Mrs. William Amendt. Casimer Munch and Adolph Munch of Monroe. She also leaves a daughter, Mrs. John Greenwald (sic) of Detroit. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, but it is expected that burial will take place here. Mr. Walldorf died several years ago. Mrs. Walldorf had resided in Detroit since 1884. _________________________________________________________________ March 8, 1932 Unknown Newspaper (probably Monroe Democrat) Rites Wednesday for Mrs. Walldorf ___ Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Walldorf, formerly of Monroe, who died in Detroit Sunday, will be held at the home of Mrs. George Amendt, 126 North Macomb street at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. E. W. McClelland officiating. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery. Mrs. Walldorf was Miss Lena Munch prior to her marriage to Adam Walldorf in 1884. She has made her home in Detroit since that time. She is survived by one daughter. Mrs. John Greenwald (sic) of Detroit, a granddaughter, Doris Greenwald (sid) of Detroit, two sisters, Mrs. George Amendt and Mrs. William Amendt of Monroe and two brothers, Casimir and Adolph Munch of Monroe. Mrs. Walldorf was born in the Munch building here in 1859. She lived there until her marriage. She was educated in the Zion Lutheran school here.
