Dixie Highway died here at 1 A.M. today in her home. She had been ill for six months. Services will be at 9:30 A.M. Friday in the Allore Funeral Home, Monroe, and at 10 in St. Charles Catholic Church, Newport, Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 P.M. tomorrow through Thursday. Friends May call after 4 P.M. tomorrow. Born Oct. 28,1882, in Newport, she was the daughter of Eli and Caroline Bomyea. She was married to Eli Nadeau May 5 1903, in St. Charles Church. She was a lifelong resident of Newport. Survivors are 4 sons, Edward of Wyandotte, Kenneth and Clayton of Newport and Harold of Monroe; 3 daughters , Mrs Clifford (Pearl) Frey and Mrs. Albert (Myrtle) Thiebault both of Newport, and Mrs. Joseph (Hazel) Kozmia of Riverview; a brother, James of Monroe; a sister, Mr. Joseph Cousino of Newport; 26 grandchildren, and 33 great--grandchildren. Her Husband proceeded her in death. in December, 1858. A daughter also proceeded her.
