OBITUARY: Mrs. Eli (Theresa) Nadeau, 69, of 8576 S. Newport Rd., Newport, died at 7:30 A.M. today in Mercy' Hospital where she was admitted yesterday. She had been ill for 10 years. Friends may call after 3 P.M. tomorrow at the Allore Funeral Home. Services will be at 8:30 a m. Saturday in the funeral home and at 9 in St Charles Catholic Church in Newport. Burial, will be in the parish cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 P.M. tomorrow and Friday in the funeral home. The daughter of Jerome and Matilda Cousino, she was born April 17, 1896, in Newport. She was married June 27, 1923, in Newport to Eli Nadeau. She was a lifelong resident of Newport and a member of St. Charles Church. She was a member of the Little Flower Circle, Daughters of Isabella of Monroe; the Christian Mothers Society of Newport; and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Donald M. Squire Post 3943, Veterans of Foreign Wars, in Newport. Surviving are her husband two sons, Martin Nadeau of Monroe and Richard Nadeau at home; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Mary) Floyd of Newport; three brothers, Isadore Cousino of Detroit and Joseph and Leo Cousino, both of Newport; two sisters. Sister M. Emmanuel, SSJ, of Flint and Mrs. Dena Compeau of East Rockwood, and four grandchildren.
