POOLEY, age 56, of 500 E. Monroe St., Dundee, was D.O.A. at Mercy-Memorial, Monroe on March 29, 1983. She had been in ill health 5 years and stricken suddenly. Born 7 Feb. 1927, she was the daughter of Daniel J and Goldia May (BOWMAN) BOLSTER. On 6 Ooct. 1945 in Dundee she married Harvey W. POOLEY in Dundee. Services were Friday 1 April 1983 at 1:00 pm in the Buhl Funeral home with Pastor John Jackson of Calvary Babtist Church officiating. Burial was in Pleasant View Cemetery in Petersburg. Surviving besides her husband are 2 sons, Larry POOLEY of Carlton, and Kevin POOLEY of Monroe; 3 daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Diana); GIBSON of Dundee, Mrs. Dennis (Debbie) VORE, and Mrs. Gary (Kathy) GILBERT also of Dundee; 1 brother , Emerson BOLSTER of Florida; 5 sisters, Mrs. Gladys COOLEY of Dundee, Mrs. George (Alberta) PERRY of Dundee; Mrs. Mildred Spaulding of Jasper, Mich..; Mrs. Joe (Kathryn) POORE of Monroe; 13 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Bearers were Thomas, Ernest and Kenneth SPAULDING, Greg PERRY, Gary POORE, Donald COOLEY. Honorary Bearers were Wayne POORE and Robert COOLEY. dz
