HILDA PINKUS Allergy specialist was born in Berlin Dr. Hilda Marie Elisabeth Hensel Pinkus died Tuesday, July 4, 1995, at her home in Monroe. She was 89. Dr. Pinkus was born in Berlin on July 13, 1905, and graduated with a medical degree from Friederich-Wilhelm University in 1930. She immigrated to the United States in 1935. Dr. Pinkus was a research fellow of internal medicine at the William J. Seymour Hospital in Eloise, Mich., from 1936 to 1939. Dr. Pinkus maintained a medical practice in allergy in Monroe from 1940 to 1973. In addition to her membership in numerous state and national medical associations, Dr. Pinkus was a member of the Detroit Institute of Arts Founder Society, the American Association of University Women and the Monroe County Historical Society. She is survived by a son, Walter. Visitation is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. today at Earl Little Funeral Home Bacarella Chapel, 115 E. Elm, Monroe. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 201 S. Monroe St., Monroe. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in LaSalle.
