This file is located at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/monroe/raisinville/obituary/thressay ost.txt Mrs. Yost, 80, Dies in Hospital January 18, 1960 Mrs. Thressa Faulhaber Yost, 80, of 976 Patterson Dr. died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Ypsilanti State Hospital, where she had been for 11 months. She had been in poor health for several years. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Rupp funeral Home, with the rev. H. J. Buwalda of Calvary Evangelical United Brethren Church officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. The daughter of John and Margaret Steinman Faulhaber, she was born Jan. 20, 1879, in Raisinville Township. Her marriage to John G. Yost was Nov. 24, 1897, and he died Nov. 15, 1952. She was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harold Tossell of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Franklin J. Kenney of East Orange, N.J.; a sister Mrs. Kate Yost of Maybee; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A son, Floyd, died Jan. 28, 1958. Three brothers and two sisters also have died.
