OBITUARY Mrs. Elizabeth VanWassehnova, 78, died last night of a heart condition in the home of her daughter Mrs. Leo Reaume of Post Rd. Newport. The body is at the Ford Funeral Home at Rockwood where services will be Friday at 9 a.m. followed by those in St, Mary's Catholic Church at Rockwood at 9:30 a.m. Internment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Born in Rockwood June 10, 1869, she was the daughter of Fred and Mary Compeau, Her husband, Frank VanWasswehnova died Dec. 12, 1947. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Leo Reaume of Rockwood, Mrs Herbert Cadigan of Lincoln park, Mrs. Joseph Van Slambrouck of Monroe and Mrs Edward O'Donbald of Lincoln Park; two sons Leon and Fred both of Newport; three brothers Joseph Compeau of New Boston, Michael of Newport and Leo of Rockwood; two sisters, Mrs. Emerson Hale and Mrs. Ann Barron both of Detroit; 25 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
