In the oldest cemetery of the St. Patrick's Parish in Carleton, Michigan, is 
the grave of Bridget. It is marked with the following inscription:

"Bridget wife of Patrick McManis
Native of Ireland
County of Longford

Died Aug. 15, 1857
Aged 63 years."
(There is other writing, but it is unreadable.)
