Headstone reads: John H Diehn 1855-1925

Additional Comments:
John Henry Diehn was born in Ohio on September 13, 1855. He bought farmland on
Sylvania-Metamora road, about half a mile west of Mitchaw road, in 1878. His
wife was Sophia Caroline Brandt. Children were John William, Mary Myrta (Mamie),
Wade Noah, Roba Henry, Forrest Leo and Joseph W. All the children were born in a
log cabin except for Forrest who was born in the "new" house in 1900.
