Dorothy I. Burns, 90 of Six Lakes, passed away Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002 at 
Gratiot Community Hospital, Alma.
She was born March 5, 1912, in Lakeview, the daughter of Albert and Grace 
Kibbey Seat.
Dorothy loved to read and crochet.  She was a life member of the Eastern Star 
of Six Lakes.
She is survived by her children, Jerry and Diana Andrus Burns of Lakeview, 
Diane and Theodore Krolczyk of Manistee, Sandra and Larry Sisco of Six Lakes; 
seven grandchildren; 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orland “Mike” Burns in 1997 and 
three sisters, Marguerite Crooks, Monnah Hafey and Mable Reynolds.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Stebbins-McCullough Chapel, Edmore, 
with Pastor Connie Bongard officiating.  Interment is in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. at the chapel.
