The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, June 15, 1955
James Graham Chapin, 53, of Stanton died at his home Monday, June 13.  He 
formerly lived in Ionia.  He married Ethel Dillenbeck of Ionia June 14, 1928.

Survivors are his wife, Ethel; four sons, Robert, Richard and Gary at home and 
Charles of Coldwater; three daughters, Mary and Lois at home and Mrs. Philip 
Adams of Stanton; one granddaughter, five brothers, Earl, Leonard and Darwin 
of Stanton and Manuel and Otis of Ionia; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth 
Diffendaffer of Illinois.  One brother died last April.

Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10 o’clock at Conley’s funeral home 
in Stanton.  Burial will be in the Stanton cemetery.
