OBITUARY -- CLEMENTS

Evangeline Barton was born in Eureka Twp., near Greenville, March 3, 1858 and 
died at her home at Lakeview, Feb. 8, 1923, aged 64 years, eleven months and 
five days.

In early childhood her parents moved to Lakeview, running one of the first 
hotels when Lakeview was nothing but a wilderness.  Some time after her 
parents moved near Amble on a farm in Barton school district, where she 
completed her school days.

At the age of seventeen she confessed faith and joined the F.M. church of 
which she has been a faithful member for forty-seven years.

Dec. 10, 1876 she was united in marriage to Wm. Clements.  Four children were 
born to this union, Myrtle, who died at age of three years, Laura who died at 
the age of twenty-five years at Glendive, Mont., Wesley of Six Lakes and Coral 
of Lakeview.

She was of a cheery, sunny disposition, spending her life doing something for 
others and greatly loved by all.

She is survived by one son, Wesley, one daughter, Coral, four grandchildren 
and a host of friends.
