OBITUARY -- CLEMENTS

Wm. Clements was born in 1838 at Somersetshire, Tronne, England, and died at 
Lakeview, Michigan, Feb. 16, 1918 aged 79 years, 2 months and 2 days.

At the age of nine years he came to America with his parents landing at 
Philadelphia, where he spent his boyhood.

In 1857, he was married to Mary Ann Dill.  To this union were born five 
children, two of whom survive.  Mrs. Hester Gaffield and Albert Clements both 
of Montana.

After thirteen years, having lost his wife, he came to Lakeview, where he has 
since resided.  In 1878/6, he was united in marriage to Eva Barton.  To this 
union were born four children, two of whom survive, WEsley of Six Lakes, and 
Coral of Lakeview.

The deceased has lived in this vicinity 49 years and leaves a wide circle of 
friends and acquaintances.  He was converted about fourty-four years ago and 
has for many years been a faithful and much appreciated member of the Free 
Methodist church.
