County News, Thurs., Mar. 21, 1957
Word was received here that Mrs. Harry (Lottie Minier) Compton, passed away the 
latter part of the week at her home in Plymouth. She had spent the most of her 
life in and around Palo. She was the daughter of Capt. and Mrs. Francis P. 
Minier.

Mr. and Mrs. Compton were manager of the Palo Telephone office for several 
years. And when poor health overtook them, they moved to Plymouth to live with 
their son's folks several years ago.

Mrs. Compton was 91 years old, and was the last of a large family. burial was 
in the family lot in the Palo Cemetery, Monday afternoon.

Graveside services were held Monday afternoon at the Palo cemetery for Mrs. 
Crampton (Compton) who died at the home of her son, Harold, in Plymouth.  Mrs. 
Compton was a former resident of Palo for many years and a member of the 
Baptist Church.
