Estel R. Gladding, 75, of 422 Tabor Street, Lyons, died Tuesday at Ionia County 
Memorial Hospital.

Born in Fairplains Township, Montcalm County, Aug. 30, 1916, he was the son of 
Lemuel and Raephalle Hopkins Gladding.  He attended Lyons schools, was a veteran 
o World War 11 and a retired carpenter and mechanic.  He was a life member of 
Lyons-Muir VFW, No. 4646; a life member of the DAV, a member of the Lyons Fire 
Department and the Golden Years Senior Citizens Club of Muir.

He was married to the former Josephine Selbach in January 1945.  She survives.

Also surviving are three son,; three daughters; 18 grandchildren; five great 
grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Gladding of Lons and Lemmie Gladding of Palo; 
and two sisters, Mabel Hutson of Arizona and Helene Fell of Muir.

Arrangments by Hull Memorial Chapel. Burial in Muir Cemetery.
