Holliday Wednesday morning, Sept. 28, at Lakeview hospital where he had been a patient 5 days. He had been ill 7 months. He was a native of Solon township where he was born May 17, 1875, the son of pioneer settlers, John and Mary Bower Holliday. All of his life was spent in this vicinity, and he was well known and had many friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 at the Solon Wesleyan Methodist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Solon cemetery, Rev. Homer McRoberts officiating. Rev. E. E. Brown will assist. Mr. Holliday reposes at Walshes Funeral Home until the hour of the service. He is survived by his widow, Mamie; a daughter, Mrs. Neff Fisk of Cedar Springs; a son, Clifford Holliday of Camp lake; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Paper and date unknown. dz
