GREENVILLE - Lula B. Jones, 96, of 6305 County Farm Road, Greenville, died 
Saturday in United Memorial Hospital, Greenville.

She was a former Palo resident and was a member of the Palo United Methodist 
Church.

Her husband Cecil preceded her in death Sept. 15, 1975.

She is survived by two sons, Paul and Max of Higgins Lake; and three daughters, 
Mrs. Darwin (Leone) Barnes of Jackson, Hope Wheeler of Greenville, and Mrs. 
Welden (Wanda) Brown of Barryton.

Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and two great great 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Palo United Methodist 
Church, the Rev. Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Palo cemetery.
