Ada R. Crowner was born at ?? Jefferson County, New York, April 25 (?) 1857 and 
passed away at her home in Vickeryville, Michigan, July 18, 1922, being 65 
years, 3 months and three days old.

She came to Michigan while still a young girl and where she met and was united 
in marriage with Asa Boughey in 1874. To this union were born two children - 
Add of Terrill, Iowa and Bessie, who resides at home.

Her first husband having passed away, she was united in marriage to J. Addison 
Miller. To this union one daughter - Florence, now at home.

Add, by which name he was familiarly known to the people of Vickeryville and 
vicinity, preceded her in death, having passed away in November, 1920.

She leaves to mourn their loss three children, Add, Bessie and Florence, also 
brothers and sisters as follows: States Crowner of Marion, Iowa, Ambrose 
Crowner of Vickeryville, Mrs. Mary Gillespie of Rochester, Minn., Will Crowner 
of Buffalo, N.Y., Mrs. Lucy Cooper and Mrs. Dora Howard both of LaGrange, Ill., 
and a host of friends. 

Mrs. Miller was a consistent Christian woman, not pretentious, but quiet and 
unassuming. Her life's character may best be told in these few words of our 
beloved Lincoln, "With malice toward none and charity for all."

The funeral services were held at the Vickeryville M.E. Church Thursday, July 
20 at 10:00 a.m., Rev. H. A. Carr of North Star officiating. Her remains were 
tenderly laid to rest in the Palo cemetery.
