Death of Mr. North Preceded that to his friend by one hour - was 75 years of age and leaves widow and one son - Funeral Thursday. While his friend and neighbor, Wm. Mitchell lay dying at this home south of Palo, Robert North, an old resident of Palo was also dying at his home in Bushnell township, Montcalm County. He died just one hour before Mr. Mitchell passed away Tuesday afternoon. The two men were friends of a life time and were indirectly related to each other through marriage. For some time they have both been sick and it was a strange coincidence that their illnesses terminated in death within an hour of each other. Mr. North, who was about 75 years of age has always resided in or near Palo and was a member of a well known and prominent family of that locality. His widow, who is about 80 years of age survives him. They have lived for forty years at the Bushnell home. One son, Charles North, also survives. the funeral will be attended from the Palo Baptist church, Thursday.
