Mrs. Reeder passed away Tuesday, March 8th, after a three weeks' illness following a stroke. She was 84 years of age. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. E.M. Roush, pastor of the United Brethren church at Carson City. The musical numbers were given by Mrs. Ronald Banton and L.S. Herrick. Six grandsons acted as pallbearers. Burial was in the family lot at Palo cemetery. The many beautiful flowers spoke messages of the sympathy of friends of the family, who realized that a good mother had been taken from the home. Mrs. Reeder was one of the oldest residents of East Bushnell and had helped to make a fine home from the forest which nearly covered the land at the time of her marriage to Gaylord H. Reeder. Eight children came to the home, two of whom with the father have passed away. Mrs. Reeder always gave freely to help worthy persons who were in need, and when in health was frequently found in homes visited by sickness or death.
