SHERIDAN - Gayla A. Trumble, 76, of Fenwick died Friday, Dec. 20, 1996 at 
United Memorial Hospital in Greenville.

She was born May 25, 1920 in Lyons Township, the daugher of George R. and 
Grace (Bowman) Sage.

She married Floyd Trumble on Dec. 21, 1946 in Elsie.  She has been a long-time 
resident of the Palo and Fenwick areas.  She is a member of VFW Post 5065 
Ladies Auxiliary and attended the Sheridan Assembly of God Church.  She spent 
many years working with her husband throughout Michigan, doing the Lord's work 
in ministry.

She is survived by her daughter; three sons; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Trumble, on Sept. 12, 1996; 
son Maynard Rogers in 1985; and brother, Wayne Sage in 1960.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, 1996 at the Stebbins and 
Simpson Funeral Home in Sheridan with Rev. Carl Gruno officiating.  Interment 
will be in Woodard Lake Cemetery.
