Enlisted in Company D, 18th Infantry Regiment Michigan on August 26 1862.
POW on September 24 1864 at Athens, AL.
Exchanged on April 22 1865.
Discharged from Company D, 18th Infantry Regiment Michigan on June 10 1865 in 
Camp Chase, OH.
