Horace Chaffee; B. 25 Feb 1834; D. 07 Feb 1912

Additional Comments:
Civil War Veteran. Enlisted Kalamazoo, MI, in Company E, Michigan 28th Infantry 
Regiment on 16 Sep 1864. Promoted to Full Corporal. Mustered out on 15 May 
1866. Cause of death was senile pneumonia. Laborer. Born in Vermont. Buried 08 
Feb, 1912. Father was Hiram Chaffee. Dates are from the Michigan death record.
