Additional Comments:
Civil War Veteran.  
Enlisted in Company G, Illinois 16th Infantry Regiment on 24 May 1861. Mustered 
out on 02 Dec 1861.  Headstone has his dates as 1835-1904.  Michigan death 
certificate has the dates as 1836-1906.  Cause of death was from Paralysis.  
Date of burial was 18 May, 1906.  His Mother was Sarah Emery.
