Barton Thurber; B. 1829; D. 31 Mar 1899

Additional Comments:
Civil war Veteran.  Enlisted Hudson, MI, 29 Aug, 1864, & in Company B, Michigan 
4th Infantry Regiment on 29 Aug 1864. Promoted to Full Corporal on 18 May 1865. 
Mustered out on 20 Apr 1866 at Detroit, MI. Died @ 70 yrs., 4 months & 6 days 
old. Buried 02 April, 1899. Cause of death was listed as internal hemorrhage.
