George W. Zehner; B. 22 Jan 1843; D. 28 Nov 1905

Additional Comments:
Civil War Veteran.  Enlisted in Company K, Wisconsin 2nd Infantry Regiment as a 
Private on 21 Apr 1861.  Transferred on 08 Dec 1861.  Enlisted in Company A, 
Wisconsin 1st Heavy Artillery Regiment on 21 Apr 1861. Mustered out on 02 Aug 
1865.  His parents were Samuel Zehner & Catherine Hubler.  Buried 01 Dec, 
1905.  He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio.  Cause of death was an enlarged heart 
& softening of the brain.
