This certifies that Artemus Grinnell aged 25 years of the town of A????, in the 
County of Wayne, state of Michigan and Diana Long, aged nineteen years of the town 
of Pittsfield, in the county of Washtenaw, in the state of Michigan were joined 
together in matrimony on this nineteenth day of March in the year of our Lord 
Eighteen hundred and forty eight at the house of Mr Long in Pittsfield by me.
