Tampa, Fl., Hillsborough County, Wednesday, October 24, 2007.
Munroe E. Boersema, 88 of Sun City Center, Fl. died October 21, 2007. He was 
born June 12, 1919 in Muskegon County, Mich. and was inducted into the U.S. Army
as a private in July 1941. He attended the aircraft mechanics school in 1941 and
early 1942. He completed pilot training as a Flight officer in December 1942 and
joined a B-26 Bomb Group headed for England. He completed 76 bombing missions,
advancing from Flight Officer to Captain. During the Korean War, He was Flight
Commander with the 13th Bomb Squadron, flying 50 more missions. While in the 
Military, He studied with the University of Maryland and obtained a Bachelor of
Arts degree. He served overseas in England, France, Germany, Panama, Guam, 
Labrador, Japan and Korea and retired from the Military in June 1963. Survivors:
His Widow, Waneeta; their Sons, James, William and David and four Grandchildren.
A private interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery. Sun City Center 
Funeral Home. (813) 634-9900.

Arlington National Cemetery for qualified military personnel and Veterans and
dependents. Located at Wash., D.C. in Arlington, Va. The Cemetery is 
administered by the U. S. Army.
