Text: GEORGE NEWVILLE STRICKEN SHOVELING SNOW, EXPIRES

George E. NEWVILLE, 78 years old, 1285 Pine Street, a retired employee of the 
Norge Division of Borg-Warner Corporation, Muskegon Heights, in 1940, and a 
Muskegon resident since 1905, was stricken with a heart attack while shoveling 
snow and died shortly after. 

Born 28 October 1869 in New York, he moved to Muskegon in 1895, living in Hart, 
Ravanna, and Fruitport before coming here. 

He had been employed by the Shaw-Walker Corporation, the Brunswick-Balke-
Collander Corporation, and the American Show Case Corporation before taking 
employment with the Norge firm in 1930.
