Bela Chase, 1850-1927, son of Arnold & Ruby Jones/Johns Chase, grandson of 
Bela Chase (Alpine Twp, Kent Co pioneer (see Alpine Center Cemetery). Never 
married. Note: Arnold & Ruby Chase are also buried in unmarked graves in this 
cemetery, probably near the marker for Bela Chase. Arnold & Ruby Chase are the 
parents of Thomas Chase, Athelia Miller, Bela Chase, Ann Johnson, Henry Chase, 
Phebe Bonter, Byrd Chase, & Fred Chase.
