Mrs. Dena K. Plakmeyer, age 85 of Hudsonville, formerly of Grant, died 
Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004 at Hospice of Holland Home in Grand Rapids, MI. She 
was born in Fremont, the daughter of Jacob Mulder and Minnie (Bowman) Mulder. 
on Nov 28, 1918. She married Ralph (Ray) Plakmeyer on Sept. 12, 1940 in 
Muskegon. He preceded his in death on Dec 5, 1968. She was a Homemaker all her 
life. She was a member of Grant Christan Reformed Church.
She was also preceded in death by her sons David and Robert.
Survived by her children, Mary and Ron Bol, Sharon & Ron Stryd, Steve & Kathy 
Plakmeyer, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Doris 
Mulder, Dolly Mulder, Virginia Mulder, Jeannette Honderd, brother-in-law John 
Plakmeyer.
Services will be held at Grant Christian Reformed Church, Grant, MI on 
Saturday Sept 25, 2004 with Rev. Case Van Wyk officiating. Interment will be 
at Hillside Cemetery.
