Was born in Lagrange, Loraine Co., Ohio, Feb 19, 1850. Married Jennie Kingsley of Ensley, Aug. 17, 1873. He was the youngest child of Loami and Hanna Stoddard, and leaves a wife and daughter, one brother, C. S. Stoddard of Grand Rapids, two sisters, Mrs. B Hoyle and Mrs. M. Phillips of Cedar Springs, and a host of warm friends to morn his loss. He experienced religion at an early age and joined the Baptist church, after a lapse of time he became spiritually indifference, but during his sickness again became concerned about his soul and renewed his covenant with God and rejoicing in his Savior. Resolutions on the Death of Sir Knight Stoddard. On the 27th of Feb., 1901 O. W. Stoddard was transferred from our Tent on earth to the Grand Tent above.
