Civil War Veteran.  Served in Co "H", 18th Michigan Volunteer Infantry.  
Enlisted in Company H, Michigan 18th Infantry Regiment on 09 Jan 1864. Mustered 
out on 25 Jun 1865. Transferred to Company E, Michigan 9th Infantry Regiment on 
25 Jun 1865. Mustered out on 26 Aug 1865 at Detroit, MI.
