Albert Hunter; B. 01 Dec 1842; D. 16 Jan 1863

Additional Comments:
Civil War Veteran.  Enlisted in Company A, 6th Michigan Cavalry, 11 August, 
1862, in Grand Rapids, MI, and as a Private.  Died of Pneumonia, 15 Jan., 1863, 
in a hospital in Washington, DC.  His enlisted friends gathered up enough money 
to have his remains shipped home for burial.  His mother was Lucena Johnson 
Hunter.
