Simon Towne; B. 24 May 1821; D. 11 May 1904

Additional Comments:
Civil War Veteran.  Served in Company H, 5th New York Cavalry. Enlisted in 
Company H, New York 5th Cavalry Regiment on 16 Aug 1862, at Crown Point, New 
York. Mustered out on 01 Jan 1864. Transferred to US Veteran Reserve Corps, on 
01 Jan 1864. 
Son of Joseph & Mary Averill Towne.  Died of old age.
