Enlisted in Company C, Michigan 1st Cavalry Regiment on 08 Dec 1863. Mustered out on 30 Jun 1865 at Fort Leavenworth, KS. Birth Date: abt 1844 Death Place: Suttons Bay, Michigan Buried 21 Sep 1899. Cause of death listed as heart failure; hypertrophy of liver; Cirrhosis of kidney. Occupation was "none. Old soldier". Was a prisoner of war. 1890 Veterans Schedule shows him as Frank Dailey, alias Cornelius Foggarty.
