W. Barton on Liberty street, Saturday evening, February 17, after an illness of eighteen hours. Funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. W. Barton on Tuesday, Rev. J. I. Nickerson officiating. The burial was in the family lot in the Highland Cemetery. Graham Bailey was born in Castle Blainey, Ireland, May 5, 1834. He was married in September, 1855 to Sarah Ann Grey and they sailed immediately for America. They arrived at the home of his brother, Joseph Bailey, in October. He engaged in farming and remained a resident of this county to the time of his death. Mrs. Bailey's death occurred in August 1896 and since that time Mr. Bailey made his home with his children. During a series of meetings in 1896 he was converted. Mr. Bailey was the father of nine children, of whom five survive him, James and Robert Bailey of Highland, Mrs. Geo. W. Barton and Mrs. L.D. Gay of Milford and Miss Hannah Bailey of Lansing.
