CRESSWELL, HUGH ELMER (Pat):  A former Rochester Hills, Michigan resident died 
on February 2, 2008 in Placida, Florida.  He was born April 22, 1921 in St. 
Louis, Michigan.  He attended Alma College and Western Michigan University 
before serving in WW II and the Korean War as a Captain in the Marines.  Pat 
was a member of the Elks, Kiwanis, the Masons, and many other organizations.

   Pat was the owner and President of the Cresswell Insurance Agency in 
Utica.  He also established Oakland General Underwriters in Rochester Hills.  
He retired in 1991 and divided his time between Charlevoix, Michigan and 
Placida, Florida.  

  Survivors include his son and a daughter, 3 grandchildren, and a sister.  He 
was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and 2 brothers.

  Visitation will be prior to the morning service on Saturday at the St. Louis 
First United Methodist Church.  Burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Chesaning, 
Michigan.  The Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, Michigan is handling 
arrangements.
