DUFFY, SISTER MARY SUSAN:
   Died on December 7, 2007 at the McAuley Retirement Center in Farmington 
Hills.  She was born on December 26, 1946 in Dubuque, Iowa.  Sister Mary had 
been a Sister of Mercy for 43 years.  She taught high school for a time and 
then earned her Doctor of Medicine degree and later went on to become  
certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Her medical career was devoted to 
those women and children who were in greatest need.

Survivors include her mother, four sisters, and her Mercy community.

Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.  McCabe Funeral Home 
in Farmington Hills is in charge of arrangements.  Services will be on Sunday 
at McAuley Center in Farmington Hills and on Monday at the McAuley Center's 
Sacred Heart Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of 
Mercy McAuley Center Fund in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
