FRIEND, ANNA
   A former Royal Oak and Birmingham, Michigan resident passed away on 
December 9, 2007 in Agawam, Massachusetts.  She was born in Bad Aibling, 
Germany in 1925 and came to the USA as a war bride.  Anna worked in Detroit as 
a secretary and bookkeeper before returning to Bavaria where she worked at 
Hamberger Werke until she retired.

Survivors include her daughter and granddaughter, a sister-in-law and a 
nephew.  She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, her 
parents, and a brother.  

A memorial service will be held next year at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in 
Troy.  Donations in her memory may be made to the Parkinson's Research 
Foundation or to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to 
Animals.
