Lemley, age 68, of Bloomfield Hills, formerly of the Lake area passed away Tuesday, December 7, 1999 in Bloomfield Hills. Elbert was born the son of Earl and Mabel (Dennis) Lemley on April 15, 1931 in Unionville, Missouri. He married the former Shirley Spangenburg on October 16, 1954 in California. Elbert served his country in the Navy during the Korean conflict. He had lived in the Lake Area since 1990 coming from Bloomfield Hills, and before that Costa Mesa,California. Elbert had worked as a General Manager and a Vice President for an automotive parts manufacturer, Elbert was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, Keith and Harold and a sister Ina. Private services were held at the Garfield Twp. Cemetery with Elbert's brother-in-law, Jack Spangenburg offering a prayer. Arrangements by the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home, Inc. of Clare.
