Joyce A. Rakowski, 63, of Bradenton, died Jan. 8, 2001, in Blake Medical 
Center. 
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Brown and Sons Funeral Home, 604 
43rd St. W. Mass will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3100 26th 
St. W., with the Rev. Robert Tierney officiating. Burial will be in 
Fogartyville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joyce Rakowski 
Scholarship Fund, c/o Q.V.C.C. Foundation Inc., P.O. Box 212, Rogers, Conn. 
06232. 
Born in Detroit, Mrs. Rakowski came to Manatee County from Madison Heights, 
Mich., in 1979 with her late husband Emil Rakowski. She was a nurses aide. She 
attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. 

She is survived by a sister; and a brother.
