The deceased was a daughter of the late Joseph Bailey, Sr., and was born in the township of Commerce Nov. 1 1851, upon the old family homestead, which she owned and where she lived at the time of her death and where also had spent her early childhood days. In fact, with the exception of 17 years she lived in the townships of White Lake and Milford, her entire life. She was united in marriage, Jan 21, 1873 to Albert Teeples of White Lake. To this union seven children were born, all of whom survive her and deeply morn the loss of a loving and devoted mother. The children are: Mrs. Henry Stowe of White Lake, William Teeples of Pontiac, Ira Teeples of Detroit, Ora Teeples of Walled Lake, Mrs. Albert Richardson of Commerce and Albert and Orpha Teeples who are on the old homestead. She is also survived by six grandchildren, four sisters and two half-brothers. The funeral services were held from the residence Wednesday Feb 26 at 1 o'clock and were in charge of Rev. J.I. Neckerson, Burial was made in the family lot at Oak Grove, Milford. Silently the Angel of death entered her home as welcome messenger to the patient sufferer and claimed as its own our loving mother and sister, who for many long weary weeks born with the smae patience and fortitude her suffering and affliction in this her final illness, as she had borne with all her sorrows and afflictions and hard toil, which were seemingly only mingled with a few joys and pleasures strewn here and there along life's pathway. As we watched her eyelids close in death and the sweet sleep that came as a sweet relief to that patient sufferer, we trusted and believed, that she had fallen asleep in Jesus and became a dreamless sleeper - safe in the arms of Jesus. In sympathy and kindness extended to the children, by neighbors and friends during her sickness and burial, also beautiful floral offerings all testified to the high esteem in which she was held.
