VAN SYCKLE DEAD Waterford pioneer had suffered long illness. Alonzo Gray Van Syckle, aged 62, died last evening at 10 o'clock at his home in Waterford township, north of Drayton Plains, from a complication of diseases. He had lived at the place where he died for the past 29 years. The deceased was born in Independence Sept. 6, 1845, and was married to the age of 24 years. HE is survived by his widow and two children, Miss Gertrude Van Syckle, of North Branch, and Myron Van Syckle, of Drayton Plains. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 from the home, Rev. Dunning Idle officiating. Internment will be made at Sashabaw Plains.
