Mr. Van Wagoner cut his hand slightly with a jack knife some weeks ago. Blood poisoning set in and all efforts to prevent its spread were in vain, death resulting therefrom. Deceases was born in Rochester seventy six years ago and moved to Oxford Township at an early age. From here he removed to Metamora, residing on the farm on which he died, The funeral was held Sunday at 2 P.M. at the house. Internment in the Van Wagoner Cemetery. Deceased is survived by three sons: Henry, Philip and George; a sister, Mrs. Ann Lambertson, and two brothers John and Henry of Lapeer.
