Mr Van Wagoner was born in Metamora Twp., and this farm which for 55 years was his home is now a cemetery,where the remains of the deceased will be interred today. He would have been 76 years of age the 12th of July. Fifty-four years ago, he married Nancy Jane Barber. Four children were born to them, two of whom are living: Wm. Van Wagoner, and Mrs. Benjamin Running. There are also four grandchildren the widow and a brother and a sister, Jacob Van Wagoner and Mrs. Ann Lambertson, of Melanies Corners surviving him. the funeral was held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the house and Rev. G.N. Gillett officiated. The burial was postponed till today on account of the rains.
