IDA VAN WAGONER Mrs. Ida R. Van Wagoner, widow of the late Charles H. Van Wagoner died at her home on the corner of Pine and Oregon streets Sunday morning at the age of 82 years . Heart trouble was the cause of her death. Ida R. Evans was born in Lapeer August 19, 1856, and was married to Charles H. Van Wagoner, November 20, 1878. They lived in Lansing and Detroit for several years, coming to Lapeer in 1929. Mr. Van Wagoner died March 19, 1933. Surviving are four children, Mrs. C.M. Tower of Lapeer, Mrs. O.L . Gillespie of HIghland Park, Mrs. Arthur Newett of Detroit and Charles H. Van Wagoner, Jr. also three grandchildren, Jack Tower, Tom Hennessey and Yvonne Gillespie. Services were held yesterday with burial in Mt. Hope cemetery, which is also the final resting place for Mrs. Van Wagoner's father, Daniel Evans, her grandfather, Isaac Evans, Jr. and her great grandfather, Isaac Evans, Sr. Rev. R. L. KortKamp officiated at the rites.
