Philip Van Wagoner
Philip Van Wagoner, 87, died at 2:30 am today at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Alice Brooks, North Oxford.  He had been ill five months.
Born Oct. 5, 1860 in Metamora, he was the son of Abner and Catherine Ulrich Van
Wagoner.  He married Martha Hodge at Lapeer in 1889.  Mr. Van Wagoner was a
former stone mason. 
Besides Mrs. Brooks, he is survived by a son, Albert, of Pontiac.  Service will
be held at 2 pm Sunday at the Mabley Chapel, Oxford, with burial in the mausoleum.
