Additional Comments:
Served with Company I, 22nd Michigan during the period 9 Aug 1862-15 Apr 1863.

As the Civil War broke out over 21 men with ties to Lyon volunteered and were 
mustered into the 22nd Michigan Infantry Regiment, Company I.

On Sunday afternoon, Oct. 12,2008 three of these men will be honored with the 
rededication of their graves located in the Chubb Road Cemetery on the corner 
of Nine Mile and Chubb Roads in Lyon Township.

The stone of Harrison Barnum has been replaced by a stone supplied by the 
Veterans Administration and set by volunteers from the National Cemetery in 
Holly. The stones of Ezekiel Brower and Stephen Wyman have been stabilized. 
These stones were provided by their families and although lying on the ground 
are too beautiful to replace.
